Announcements

There’s been enough interest in this directory over the past four months that I’ve decided to go ahead and integrate it more seamlessly into The Sample. Starting next week, there will be a new “Directory” section in The Sample’s weekly email reports, and that will replace these emails. Most people in this directory are already on The Sample, but if you aren’t yet and you’d like to keep getting these directory emails, you can join for free.

The Sample’s publisher console now has a section under the Settings page where you can enter the information for your directory listing:

That form is not yet linked to the Airtable directory. This week, I’ll sync all your settings from Airtable to The Sample, and then I’ll make it so any changes you make from within The Sample will be synced to the Airtable directory. You shouldn’t need to do anything.

There is one thing I need to figure out: I'm not sure if we should keep the activity feed as-is, or if we should change it, or if we should just leave it out. I guess it is nice to have some kind of visibility into how active the directory actually is. I'll probably leave it as-is as I move it to The Sample, but maybe we'll tweak it down the road.
